"Kiki" Fort Atkinson:  The Humane Society of Jefferson County has a lovely black female Chow Chow for adoption.  "Kiki" is approximately 5-6 years old and spayed.  For more information, contact the shelter at 920-674-2048 or visit their website.  The shelter is open 1 - 6  pm Monday through Saturday. "Buddy" Ladysmith (north of Eau Claire):  The Rusk County Animal Shelter has a red male Chow Chow for adoption.  "Buddy" is 4 years old, friendly, and best suited to an adult home or one with teenaged children.  Neutering is a requirement of adoption.  For more information, contact the shelter at 715-532-2637 or send email to shelter manager Carol Arndt.  (5/13/2008)
"Ginger" Appleton:   The Fox Valley Humane Association has a beautiful red female Chow Chow for adoption.  "Ginger" likes attention and should do well in a home with older children where she can be the only dog.  She gets along with cats that are accustomed to dogs.  For more information, contact the shelter at 920-733-1717.   The shelter is open from noon to 5 pm Monday-Friday, until 7 pm on Tuesday & Thursday, and from noon to 3 pm on Saturdays.  (5/14/2008)
